“My son and I came to Tamar’s House because we needed to escape a domestic violence situation. I was afraid, overwhelmed, and unsure what our future would look like. Tamar’s House gave us a safe and confidential place where we could breathe, heal, and begin again. The support I received helped me think beyond the immediate crisis and start building long-term stability for my son and me. I am now working toward a future defined by safety, independence, and hope—not by what we had to escape.”
