The House of Hope and Restoration
To serve women's spiritual and physical needs.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
-Romans 15:13
The Vision behind HOH
Our Story
I was driving down Main Street in Brundidge, Alabama, when my eyes became fixed on an old vacant house. I had passed it dozens of times before, but this time was different. I pulled into the driveway and stopped. There was just something about that house.
I walked around and peeked through the windows. Although it was in extreme disrepair, I could still see the beauty it must have once held. Wanting to see more, I walked around to the back and was surprised to find the door open. As I slowly stepped inside, I felt the presence of the Lord, and in that quiet moment, I heard that still, small voice speak to my heart:
“This place shall be called Hope. It will become a beacon of light in a world of darkness, and this house will be reborn to help struggling people.”
That was the beginning of The House of Hope and Restoration. What once stood empty and seemingly without purpose was given a new purpose. For every obstacle, God made a way. For every need, God provided. It was like watching a puzzle come together, one piece at a time. After a year and a half of prayer, hard work, and restoration, the house became a place where women could begin rebuilding their lives.
Who We Are
The House of Hope and Restoration is a faith-based 501(c)(3) residential recovery ministry for adult women. This ministry is personal to my husband and me. Someone in our immediate family began struggling with addiction at a young age and has spent much of his life incarcerated. We know the pain addiction can bring to an entire family. Without God, we would not have made it this far.
Because of what our family has walked through, God placed a heart in us to help others facing difficult seasons.
What We Do
We provide a structured 12–18 month residential recovery program for women who desire stability, accountability, spiritual growth, and a new direction for their lives. Through faith, recovery support, life skills, and job-readiness training, we walk alongside women as they work to rebuild their lives and prepare for a productive future.
The storms of life will come. Addiction, incarceration, broken relationships, and difficult circumstances can leave someone feeling hopeless. But we believe God is still in the restoration business.
Our mission is to help women find hope, rebuild their lives, and become all that God intended them to be.
How You Can Help
My prayer is that you will come alongside The House of Hope and Restoration and help us help these women. You can partner with us through prayer, volunteering, donating needed items, or giving financially to support the ministry.
Please consider partnering with us as we continue to restore hope and rebuild lives.
